Unreal Engine cave environment - Playblast
My role for the production was to design and orchestrate the layout of the Cave Environment. I imported the Textures and Largescale Cave Assets used to make up the Cave Environment from sources such as Quixel Bridge. Smaller assets featured in the environment such as ruins, torches, mushrooms, etc were made by other group members, it was my sole role to place these assets within the scene to create a narrative and theme for the environment. Lighting and Animations were also done by myself.
I later converted the environment into a VR copy where I added features such as locomotion for ease of use for the user. the overall quality of textures and assets had to be dialed down to allow for a smooth experience whilst using VR.
